to fit your needs.
When you are looking for an instructor don't make a MAJOR mistake in who you select. Many instructor's have taken great pains to produce an impressive sounding resume, until you look a little deeper.
For example you may see something like: 25 years police experiance
To be honest that says nothing. Police officers are not all expert shooters, in fact many just get by on qualifications. Compare that general statement to something more meaningful: 10 years state certified high liability firearms instructor.
Working as a decoy for a prostitution sting does not qualify you for teaching tactical shooting!
And military service alone does not cut it. I support our military. But, just because you were in the service, or even overseas in a time of war, there is nothing to grant you instructor status. Driving a jeep for a general is a lot different than being an instructor for the USMC sniper school!
Look for specific qualifications for firearm and combative skills. If they have the skills, they will post them on the resume.
