If you have a new firearm, and are looking for where to begin,
our Basic Firearm Safety Course is a great place to start.
Learn about the rules for safe operation of your new firearm along with
understanding the proper way to care for and maintain your firearm.
This is an four hour class with an optional range session.

Florida's Concealed Weapon Permit provides the citizen a meaningful
set of options for self defense with modest requirements for the holder.
Our classes and private training go well beyond the State requirments to
provide a safe and secure set of skills for your self defense. Understanding
a handgun won't solve every problem, we have developed a robust system to
help you deal with many of the situations you may encounter.
Classes vary by student skill level.
These are normaly eight hour classes with two to four hours on the range.
We offer a number of classes that provide for the expansion of your
defensive skills. Most Concealed Weapons Permit classes just cover
what is required. We go beyond the basic requirments and provide a
framework of skills that will allow the student to progress at a
pace that meets their requirements.
We also understand that most of the traditional martial arts schools
do not provide a realistic picture of what is required to survive a
violent criminal attack. Let us show you some simple, but effective
ways to stay safer and prepare for the unexpected.
If you live in the Tampa/St. Petersburg area we offer a number of classes at low and even no charge.
If you have been the victim of a violent crime or are currently under the protection of a restraining order please feel free to contact us about defensive classes at no charge. I offer this service to those in need as resources allow.
